I was tasked with creating cannabis plants for a marijuana farm project. I had to create three plants in three sizes and growth stages.
Decided to go as procedural as possible for fast iteration and flexibility, I therefore utilized the power of SpeedTree and Blender's Geo Nodes to create quick variations for the plant and the strains. I eventually made a BP setup in Unreal for easy placement in the level, using the construction script to randomize different parameters so no two plants look the same. Once again reference is key so I took some time to study the anatomy of a cannabis plant.

Helped me constrain poly count and create LODs for use in SpeedTree.

Blueprint setup.
Two main sizes can be selected and multiple meshes are then randomized within each size category, as well as other parameters for unique look.
